Liquid Coating Capabilities

Surtech can apply a wide range of VOC compliant liquid coatings. The coatings can be engineered to meet a range of applications where a wet coating is more appropriate for the functional requirements. These coating offerings provide a full range of coating systems that augment our powder coating technologies.

CAPABILITIES:

Coatings are applied in an environmentally controlled side draft, automotive style paint booth. Application equipment includes conventional spray, HVLP systems, pre-heated pump delivery systems, and robotic applications when required.
Force curing capacities exist in ovens with the part size capacity of 84 inches wide by 120 inches long and 48 inches high
Small electric oven capacity exist for curing clear lacquers
Pre-treatments can include iron phosphate conversion, abrasive blast prep, and ultra-sonic degreasing
Ferrous and non-ferrous substrates can be coated.
Special masking can be developed.
Coating systems that have been applies include:
Epoxy systems, acrylic water-born systems, air dry and forced cured clear lacquers, urethane, polyurethane and conductive coating systems.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS:
All coating used are VOC compliant coatings that meet EPA and DEP regulations. All materials are disposed of in the proper manner as regulated by the EPA. All DEP Air Quality permits are in place.

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

Performance testing can be provided to meet ASTM and Product specifications. Surtech Industries follows an ISO 9000 compliant Quality System.
